Biden Opens Door to China Sabotage in North Dakota

Biden allowing EL's favorite country to buy land close to airforce base. f course China would never buy land close to a base to try to spy in it.
You actively campaigning for the "worst poster of the year", title?

China isn't buying the land. A Chinese company is.
It is 12 miles away from an air force base.
Is Grand Forks AFB in North Dakota the hub for secret weaponry and communications?

I looked it up as there used to be Minute Men silos at Grand Forks AFB. They were decommissioned in the late 90’s. Now it appears to just be the base for MQ-4 Global Hawks

I'm not opposed to exploring idea of banning foreigners (non residents/non citizens) from owing property in the US. Maybe a compromise situation where the majority owner is a US citizen/resident.

Canadians and Canadian interests currently owns more farmland than anyone else.

Would you extend that restriction all the way down to home ownership?

IDK, like I said I think the idea should be explored. More countries than not ban or limit property ownership by foreigners (non residents) and I think it's time we take a look at doing something similar.

So let's be clear. a Chinese company is buying the land that is from a communist country. This communist country has stolen and is still trying to steal military technology from us. You honestly think that China is not going to try to set up a spy system through that
company? You honestly think that China doesn't own that company or will have no influence on that company.

Are you really this ignorant? Apparently so.

As for his title, the semiconductor export ban to China that Biden administration issued is more damaging to China than anything Trump ever did.

Hmm, good point. Let's eliminate all government involvement in property transfer.
As with most things, you have to find where to draw the line. A Canadian buying a condo in Fort Lauderdale isn't a national security threat, but you probably don't want the Chinese to have a mysterious complex in Silicon Valley.

That’s why I said I was open to exploring the subject. But 1 thing is for certain, Canadians need to be banned from entering the US.

Are your questions rhetorical or do you have the courage to actually dialogue?

I am at peace either way you call it.

It isn't. Here's why: when a law is passed, it doesn't exist in a vacuum. The new law will be responded to by those affected. We see this routinely when tax laws are passed and the prediction of increased revenue doesn't materialize. Why? Because those affected by the law change their behaviors in a way to circumvent the rule. China will be no different. Unless we are the only source for semiconductors and the technology to create is proprietary, secretive, and 100% foolproof.

Lol, you're foolish if you think that China doesn't spend all hours of the day thinking of ways to get a larger foothold in this country. They love finding land, or property to put up towers by military bases. You disregard all you want but that's how china operates.

Let's be real here. The Chinese already have infrastructure and capital expenditures in the DMV that will push their agenda far more than farmland in ND.

Not all Canadians. Triumph was one of the very best concerts I’ve ever seen on American soil and still one of my favorite bands ever.
