Biden: Paying higher taxes patriotic for wealthy - Yahoo! News

"We want to take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people," Biden said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America."
Noting that wealthier Americans would indeed pay more, Biden said: "It's time to be patriotic ... time to jump in, time to be part of the deal, time to help get America out of the rut."

It's time to be patriotic, time to jump in and be part of the deal? Uhm, Mr Biden are you aware that the country runs off the money they bring into the economy? And you want them to pay more when many of the "working class/blue collar people" already pay no taxes?

I am by no means wealthy, I would probably be best described as lower middle class and I can speak for myself by saying I don't want the wealthy to pay my taxes for me. There is dignity in working hard and paying your way and i don't want anyone taking that away from me.

Let me get this straight-I go to school for a number of years so that I can be successful, come out of professional school with 200K+ in debt, and yet I'm the one supposed to pay more taxes? Somehow I feel like I've don't my share to stimulate the economy.

rumor floating around is after the debates that Biden will supposedly get ill, and Obama will drop him from the ticket. They are saying he will pick up Satan, oh i mean Hill. This rumor is spreading fast.

It's fabulous to be so patriotic. Bonus days feel really good as do the accruals at the time of a gain on sale. My patriotism seems to know no bounds.

Biden is just like the Founding Fathers who strongly felt that paying taxes was the essence of patriotism...
