He argued that money invested in both private and public-sector initiatives has saved as many as 2 million jobs, and said, "I don't think they realize it." Biden said the program, now a year old, was designed to be implemented in two stages, saying "we've only been halfway through the act."

I like this part too:

You always see productivity surge in a recession. people working more hours for the same money doesn't exactly scream a recovering economy.

The Fed .. released a forecast Wednesday predicting unemployment will stay high over the next two years....

BTW, China dumped a huge amount of US Treasury notes in December, leaving Japan as the the top invester in treasury notes and predictions are being made that if Ozbama and the dimecraps don't curb deficit spending America could soon lose it's AAA rating.

Well Ozbama just created a new federal agency that will enlighten us on climate and will mostly be informed by Woods Hole which is solidly in the Gorinski climate change camp.

BTW, Gore's book which won a peace prize is now up for a pulitzer in fiction because he said it was going to quit snowing and we now have snow in 49 of the 50 states for the first time in known history.

I think I'll write a song; 'who's snowing who?'

Um......the country version probably should be; 'It's been nice snowing you.'

A couple of years ago one of the producers of the movie tried to strike a deal with the National Science Teachers Association to get 50K copies of the DVD distributed to its members. Thankfully, it ran afoul of the NSTA's non-endorsement policy, and they had to turn her down.

They (NSTA) are otherwise pretty big on global warming though.
