There should be rule that you have to win the conference championship to be in it. Wisconsin would deserve if they win tonight. Just another reason to expand the playoffs.

How about we wait until we at least get competitive semifinals before talking about expansion.

Looks like there are teams that will be left out of the playoffs that may be top 4 in the country. The current system is flawed and should be changed. Champions should be determined by the play on the field , not polls or computer rankings.

Losing to #8 isn’t enough to drop 4 spots and beating #1 as a 2 loss team isn’t enough to jump 4 spots either.

If tOSU doesn't get in just because they lost this game then there's no reason to have played the previous 12 games.

The 4 best and most deserving teams will make the playoffs and no one will get screwed. OU will get the 4 spot. PAC 12 has a 2 loss champ. The 4 other conferences will have undefeated or 1 loss champs. Explain how a 5th team is somehow getting left out of the playoff? Better yet, name a 5th team that should be in the playoff outside of LSU, Clemson, OSU, and OU.

There may be teams which could be competitive now for a NC but are not getting the chance. The expansion needs to happen now , not later. BTW some of the most recent playoff games have been competitive so I don’t know what you have been watching ?

Ohio St still gets in because they would still be one of the best 4 teams in the country with one of the 4 best resumes. There’s no one loss teams to take their place and done forget they absolutely killed Wisconsin earlier this year.
