Last night before the OSU-MSU game a friend and fellow Vol posted on Facebook, backhandedly wishing them luck in their first Top 10 match in over two years. Our Vol friends generally wanted to see OSU lose, but all agreed that watching them get shellacked in the NC would have been fun.

After the game, two big 10 dolts raised their voices. They can't help it. The first was a michigan fan, which is always its own brand of special:

"After these games, it's obvious that the Big 10 is better than the SEC! Nobody will admit it, but there is no defense in the SEC! NONE!"

A friend correctly noted the irony of a guy posting this after his team gave up more than 40 points to Indiana, PSU and OSU.

I agree that neither defense played well in the SECCG. Both teams had no real answer for the other's offensive attack. Still, and I'm no conference supporter, but you have to be a bit touched to say this proves Big 10 dominance over the SEC.

Next. A Big 10 guy whose team is not known. It doesn't really matter because no one cares:

"Mich ST should leap over Auburn."

I mean, the stupid is so strong here it didn't get a response from anyone. Thread ended.

If you have Big 10 friends, and it's perfectly understandable if you don't, are they trolling? Anyone see chatter that they want Mich St to go to the NC?

I don't pay attention to what my Big10 fans say. Or I just nod my head in agreement and say uh huh

Is Michigan State trying to make a case for the NC over Auburn? If so, it's a joke. You can't really hold it against the program for trying, but it's embarrassing for a fan to publicly support it.

Beating Ohio state is no big feat. At least half of the SEC would easily have their way with the buckeyes.

I remember when the SEC didn't have any offenses either.

Sour grapes.
OSU has a nice program but battle tested is really a big thing.
Just look at what they would have done with TN schedule. It would have been a much better barometer of their team.

Would have lost to mizzou, auburn, Bama, Oregon and possibly USC IMO.
