· Iowa State 9 - Nebraska 7
· Oklahoma State 34 - Baylor 7
· Kansas State 20 - Colorado 6
· Oklahoma 35 - Kansas 13
· Texas A&M 52 - Texas Tech 30
· Texas 41 - Missouri 7

ISU beating Nebraska was pretty surprising for me. The rest of the games went on just like they were planned. And yes I mean my Aggies too. Tech = wrecked, and it couldnt have happened to a crappier fan base.

Week 9 10/31/09 Schedule:

Baylor vs. Nebraska in Waco. The corn shuckers should bounce back and win this one.

Colorado vs. Missouri in Colorado. Mizzou ought to be able to move the ball better against the Buff's D. They'll need a confidence game before they start gearing up for Kansas.

Texas Tech vs. Kansas in Lubbock. I fully expect Leach to have his guys ready to destroy Kansas. I wouldnt want to be a Red Raider during practice this week, if you know what Im sayin.

Texas A&M vs. Iowa State at Kyle Field. Ok, so ISU is better than I gave them credit for, and Im kinda concerned. I think we'll win, and Im glad its a home game, but it aint gonna be as easy as I thought it would.

Oklahoma vs. Kansas State in Norman. Even with Bradford done for, I'll still take Ou.

Oklahoma State vs. Texas in Stillwater. This is probablly the biggest game of the week for the Big 12. I like t.u. in this game, but they need to be on upset alert. They're not destroying defenses like they did last year, and Okie Lite can score. Mack Brown will need a good week of practice outta his guys.

Oh, and the last thing, in case yall forgot,


tech = wrecked. Upset still resides in Lubbock. It just has an aTm flag hanging off the front porch.

Mike Sherman coached the boys up all week and went to the dust bowl in Lubbock and whipped their sorry, arrogant, classless, no count, overrated, over hyped, collective butts so bad, Leach made fun of his players and girlfriends after the game. Furthermore, aTm promptly put the boys with tt on their shirts back in their place.


Sorry if I seem long winded, but this was a pretty big rivalry game for me and for our program.

That's typical for us. Lose to someone you're favored against, beat someone you're not.

After this weekend, I could easily see us do one of the following:

Whip everyone and lose to Texas and Ou.
Lose to everyone except t.u.
Hang 60 on Baylor, but lose to Colorado.

Its a crap shoot with these youngsters, but it makes for an exciting season.

It. Just. Might. Happen.

We finally got that game back on the schedule where it belongs. Thanksgiving NIGHT. Oh, and it just so happens to be in Kyle Field this year.

Yall know all too well what can happen in rivalry games. I wouldnt count us out.

Nebraska fumbled first play of the game. Iowa State gained 4 yards and kicked a FG (1 of their 2 scores on the day).

So basically Nebraska lost and Iowa State just happened to be playing against them. Im liking my chances more and more.

Also, this little gem from Leach:

“You know what happened. We pound on Kansas State, so A&M looks at the film all week. They strut around and laugh. And, you know, ho-ho-ho, ha-ha-ha, and they listen to their fat little old girlfriend, and, then pretty soon they, you know, what happens in Manhattan happens. Then, well, the first thing that we do is we go in our meeting and we talk about, you know, we're not going to -- we're going to respect everyone. We're going to fear no one. We're not going to compare scores and we're not going to listen to our fat little girlfriends. Like I said, it starts with the coaching staff. But in the back of our minds as coaches, and in the back of on our minds as players, well, ha-ha-ha, he-he-he, we pounded Kansas State. Kansas State pounded A&M. So therefore, we're really going to pound Texas A&M.”

Gotta love the guy.

I think he's hilarious. Never a dull moment when you put a mic infront of the Pirate.
