There were 3 good games this week.
Nebraska rallied to finish off Mizzou whose Qb looked shell shocked after so many INT/almost INT's.
Kansas struggled with ISU and scraped by with a win 41-36.
and my Aggies fell short of closing the deal here @ home against Okie Lite. 36-31 final. Very, very fun game to watch.
The rest were blowouts or atleast the final showed a blowout. Texas struggled early against Cu, but then remembered they were Texas. 38-14.
Ou whooped the Bears easily.
Tche hung the speed limit on K-State 66-14, no surprise there.
Next weeks games:
Texas (5-0) Oklahoma (3-2) The Red River shootout might be t.u.'s last obstacle in the way of a National Championship game.
Colorado (1-4) Kansas (5-0)
Iowa St. (3-3) Baylor (3-2)
Kansas St. (3-3) Texas A&M (3-2) This will be our 1st Big12 win, and one step closer to the "Houston Bowl".
Nebraska (4-1) Texas Tech (4-2) Nebraska's last big test.
Oklahoma St. (4-1) Missouri (4-1) It'll be a toss up.
All in all, it's plain to see that the pre-season frontrunners have dwindeled down to the longhorns, cornhuskers, jayhawks, maybe Mizzou, and Bob Stoops and co. I still expect Texas to finish this thing, but their last stepping stone is coming. The battle for the North is and will be a lot closer than the one for the South, but what else is new?
