This is the only time that I'll ever agree with someone doing the "overrated" chant.

I can agree. It's rather dull and outplayed, but with all the nut swinging we heard from ESPN for weeks leading up the NCAA's, I feel it is justified.

Guaranteed two teams, and that's all they will get. Quite sad.

Has three guarantees the last 5 are arguable but should in no way be at 11.

Who would you leave out? The #11 team is in the Sweet 16. Nova? Maybe. They finished terribly and were 38th in the RPI. Georgetown? Yeah, they got booted in the first round, but they finished 13th in RPI and played the toughest schedule in the nation. No argument for UConn because they won the Big East. Marquette may have been 64th in RPI, but they have proven they belonged.

I don't have a problem with them getting 11 teams. The conference as a whole is terrible overrated, though. They have 8 Final Four's in the past 8 years and the last championship game in '04. Not all that if you ask me.

Who is still in the tourney has nothing to do with it. The first weekend is all about matchups.

VCU is still in it but most people still contend that they shouldn't be in in the first place. It's not about if you can win in the tourney, it's about your regular season warranting a spot in the dance.

I felt uncomfortable with the Big East getting 11 in to begin with, and look at what's happened.

Okay. So, remove Marquette, VCU, USC, and UAB, along with any other teams you don't think should have in there, and tell me the teams you do put in there.

Out of these teams, who do you replace?

12 - UAB
12 - Clemson
11 - USC
11 - VCU
11 - Missouri
11 - Marquette
10 - Penn State

I think we can agree that Georgia, Florida State, and Michigan State shouldn't be included. Penn State, too, maybe. I'm curious to see what you would do if you were on the selection committee.

VCU and UAB for sure... Colorado should have been in. The Buffs' resume wasn't half bad.

I agree with you there. I also think Virginia Tech should have been in there, even though they lost to Wichita State in the NIT. Alabama possibly, too.
