You have all these schools jonesing to get in a BCS conference - TCU, Memphis, Boise St, etc.. - that have worked their butts off to even be considered in the same breath as BCS then for the Big Least to 'ask' Villanova, a Div 1-aa school, to consider just jumping up to D1 and right into a BCS conference is beyond pitiful. I hope all the other 10 conferences are watching this.

I used to think the ACC was a bad football conference. The Big Least has now taken that over.

Not saying Nova is a world beater, nor saying the BE deserves an auto bid. But despite the superior knowledge of the skoal patrol, I think the BE is looking for an 8 game conference schedule and therefore another home game.

The writing was on the wall that they were done as an AQ when the conference split before, this is a move to simply remain viable as a FBS football conference.

What a scam. It's just a way for the conference to pad their records. The worst part is that it will count as a conference win. I'm sure they'll all schedule at least one FCS school out of conference as well. This is a joke.

I agree with the person that said strip the Big East of their auto bid. They should be looking to get stronger, not weaker. UCF should have been the first choice imo.
