I was thinking I hope He had it insured. He'll be second team, at worst, by the end of the season. If you're on bama or UGA''s two deep you'll automatically get placed on any preseason list....Omari is going to have a long and productive professional career, He was unstoppable toward the end of last season.

Little known fact.
Oscar played on the team (Crispus Attucks) that Milan (Movie-Hoosiers) beat in semi state tourney game. Oscar was a sophomore that year and his team did win the state tourney the following 2 years.
Apparently he wanted to go to Indiana University and the coach wanted him but was told since there was already a black player on the team, could not have another black player so Oscar ended up at Cincinnati. Thankfully we have made progress since then.

Fascinating back story to that school. College professor level African-American teachers couldn’t get hired so they flocked to Crispus Attucks. Very strong academics. The coach in the movie was an alumnus and HOF coach. Side note: the announcer in the movie did the same in real life for the game.

Omari Thomas has been our best defensive lineman and it's not been close. He deserves more acknowledgement but I think he starts to get that this year. Teams struggled with him last year.
