I saw a TN Vol - Big Orange Bus that looked like a tour bus for a rock star on Westheimer Rd traveling onto I-610 in Houston, TX. I think it was most likely on Friday evening but could have been Thursday. Anybody know anything about this bus and what it was doing in Texas?

It was the official team bus and looks like this in the attachment. So cool to see in Texas. Coming down Westheimer it had to be there for a reason.

Carrying Latin America's best illegal alien athletic prospects across the border to Knoxville for resettlement?

I think a lot of sports use this bus. I know the baseball team drove it up to Jc when they played ETSU. I saw it. I'm not sure what sport is in right now. Just a thought.

Part of CBJ's master plan. He told me that a bus that looks that good should not be parked. It should be rolling 24/7 through every state in the union, and Germany, spreading the good word that the "VOLS are BACK".:)

I saw the same bus in early April in Arkansas. It was heading East & I was heading West.

I have inside information on this bus. Our coaches are on the way to see our new QB-----Mr. Dormady. Now, that's recruiting in style. I'm told they will also make a stop in Austin to let them know the "real" Big Orange can reach out and touch any player in Texas :):):):)

That's my story and I'm sticking to it :):):)

Somebody in another thread said the bus company will rent that bus out to you for like a church trip or whatever for more money than the regular bus

I seem to recall reading a thread similar to this last year. And if I'm recalling correctly, UT subcontracts a company for their buses but during the off season the buses resume other operations. Can be seen anywhere from Florida to Texas apparently.

I saw it going on I 26 N out of Columbia the morning after our LVs lost in the SEC softball tourney. Saw it last year on GA HWY 316 headed for Athens. Impressive advertising for the Vols. You don't miss it if you are within a mile of it.

Man I travel 610 everyday..wished I would have seen it...

On another note a friend at work in houston daughter is being recruited by tn swim team.. She is like the best in Texas n has crazy offers.. I would have loved to snap a shot n sent to him n told him the big orange is everywhere...

On mobile sorry if typos.

I heard Butchna and VolsDoc81TX rented it out for the week. Butchna is on a world tour to pick up all his TG hatin' minions. :)
