Conference wars...really guys?

You can't base an 11/12 team conference on one 24-hour period of football. That's like basing the SEC on our first three bowl games.

All in fun. I'm actually a root against all SEC except TN guy. Although, I was torn after what the two Big 10 officiating crews did in the bowls.

Any time the Big 17 goes 0-3 against the SEC it's a good day to me, even if UF and Bama won.

The Big 10 was 10-12 in BCS games prior to this year.

The Big 10 should change their conference names to "Teams that got beat by SEC teams" and "Teams that will be beat by SEC teams"

Correct. They are 2-5.

Wins: Illinois & Iowa

Losses: Northwestern, Michigan State, Michigan, Penn State & Wisconsin.

2 of the 3 co-champions have lost. If the Hogs take care of business all 3 will be done.

They were 0-5 today, and the announcers words and news headlines have all had "0-5" in them. Matter of fact, I just heard Jesse Palmer dumb ass say it just now on ESPN. Thats where the confusion came from.

Pretty much explains why I thought it was 0-5. I've heard them say it about 50 times now.

They should call those divisions "Slow & Slower. That conference is complete garbage.

The teams look slow, but bowl games are an utter garbage barometer. Worst way to try and evaluate anything. It's like exhibition season.

Doesnt change the fact that the teams are garbage though. It's sad when the conference showcase team (OSU) has been an utter croc over recent history when bowl season rolls around. Even in their NC games they haven't looked all that great.

The Big "Whatever It Is Now" is a crap conference.
