Over the last decade SEC programs have turned to coaches from the north to create the success the SEC has now. Now the Big Ten is slowly starting to bring those coaches back home. how long before Nick Saban is back at Michigan State? Would 6 mil/year be enough to get Miles to Michigan one day? At what point does Stoops go back to Iowa? The coaches from the north who have had success in the SEC have always been able to pull the elite players out of the north and keep the elite talent in the south. They still have connections in he hotbeds of the south so what happens when these guys head back up north and bring the elite talent with them? The Big Ten will look scary over the next decade

1) Saban still wears green for his press conferences during MSU -v michigan week. He still has major ties to the E. Lansing area, many friends. etc. He loves the school. But there is no way in hell he is going back. No way.

2) michigan has went after les TWICE recently. If he didnt take this last one, he is never going. And now that LLLoyd Carr (the one thing you always got with him as coach is 3 L's) is back and playing friendly with the program, that assures les never makes it back.

d) there is no d at michigan. :eek:lol:

:hi:

Saban is in his 60's, I doubt he's looking for a long term project now.
