According to the Twitters, you can still buy eight good lower-level tickets together via the website.

It's just kind of a crappy matchup. The game has zero national title implications, it's between #14 and #16, and both schools are 4.5 hours or more away from Indianapolis.

It's a rematch of a particularly exciting game, and really the best conference championship game on the slate this year. SEC and Pac-12 championships will probably be snoozers, and nobody cares about the ACC.

My Saturday will look like this:
12:30: Texas vs Baylor
1:00: Start of SEC championship
2:00: Back to the end of Texas/Baylor when LSU starts killing UGA
4:00: Drinking and bull****ting on the interwebs for an hour
5:00: Run two screens with Big Ten CG and Okie/Okie Lite

Michigan State is playing its best ball right now.

Cousins is hitting on all cylinders. The defense is looking VERY good. The blitz packages are wildly successful.

MSU didnt have Will Gholston in the first match up but got some very good backup play on the line from guys that dont play much most of the time.

Ball (UW) was hurt for part of the first game and didnt get in his full reps, but his backup did a great job.

It will be interesting to see how it goes. Wisky plays very well at home, but this isnt home.

Im not predicting everything because that always goes bad for me.

I think both teams are better than their ranking.

Both would beat KState
Both would beat VaTech
Both would beat Boise
Both would beat Houston
Both would beat Arky
Both would beat S. Carolina

Stanford and Okie St are toss ups.

Neither would beat LSU or Bama

MSU sucked 2x on the road and I put both of those losses on the OC. Horrendous play calling. Just plain stupid. This is his first season as OC and it showed. He has grown in to the position a bit, gained confidence in his players a bit. And the players are in beast mode right now.

I look for a very good game.

damndamndamn. That would be awesome.

I went back in 88. I was single, had no ties to anything except a crappy job. I spent a ton of money and it was worth 100x what I spent.

(also snuck into the Forum and met the Lakers. . . after getting caught wandering around and lying about Earv and my brother going to HS together. Well. . . they did, but they didnt know each other!! haha) Good times.

I hope you get to go to the RoseBowl. Dont miss the parade as well. Excellent times.

I agree with all that except Arkansas. I still believe they are one of the 5 best teams in the nation. LSU and Bama are simply bad NFL teams right now, and even they would probably beat the worst NFL team honestly.

I went to the Capital One Bowl back when we lost to Georgia. That was a blast down in Orlando. The Rose Bowl may be a once in a lifetime thing for MSU so I had to take the opportunity even if its gonna tear a pretty big hole in my pocket.

I am willing to call Arky a draw. But it would be close. Im with you , LSU and Bama would not be close. And Im certain that the lower 1/4 of NFL teams would have a problem scoring on them. QB and OL are where both teams would stuggle. RB, DL. LB DB, damndamndamn those teams are stocked.

Yeah, I would give my left nut to go to the Rose Bowl this year, but I wont go without my family, and my daughter has to be back for Rowing Practice on the 3rd, so that doesnt work.

(Im going to use that excuse, because it looks better than "I just cant afford it right now")
