Hey been kinda out of the recruiting loop lately due to heavy training. But who are the RBs that we are after? And are we going after any speedsters? Yeah I know our needs are on the lines but I'm just wondering who are we in good with at the skill positions. Thanks

Yessir.

Rbs-
Justice Hayes - we're in good standing with him
the two florida boys Chevelle Buie and Andrew Buie have major speed not sure how close we are with them, time will tell

DBs
Tino Thomas & Derek King both have speed.

Good question. I do not remember the last time we had a WR or RB with big play ability from the line of scrimmage. We used to recruit a few track stars every year or two. The best SEC teams have a few. LSU, FL, Bama. Lafell, Holliday, Demps, Rainey, Richardson, Arenas.

My apologies for using the reference. I wanna hear Vern say," Oh my, did you that!"

You don't need RB's with big play ability. You need ones with a lot of good play ability.

coker was probably the last big speed threat we had at rb. Too bad he would have rather smoked weed than play football at UT.

Yeah Coker was the type of threat that I like to have at RB. Speed paired with a balanced/bruising type of back will make an offense and running game balanced. The threat of breaking it on any play makes defenses account for the threat at all times.

I would like to have an every down back who can rip off Long runs (Im thinkin somethin like Charlie Garner)

LD, I got a feeling you're gonna really appreciate Rajion Neal's ability to stretch the field and bang inside over the next few yrs.

Yeah. I dont understand why people are projecting him on defense I think he makes too many plays when he has the ball.

Coker was the ideal back, man I wish we had another one like him. (On the field.)

I know PrimeTime. I played against him in HS and the RB for my team was a hell of an athlete. Ran a 4.4 on multiple occasions. Cuttcliffe came to our field house to evaluate him he won state in the 100 and 400 in track our Jr yr I mean awesome bro. Put it this way he played safety too and Coker absolutely left him in the dust bro. I'm talking they were even as Coker started seperating away from him heading to the endzone by for like a 90 yd td run. I agree 100% with ya.

Poole is pretty good man. Have you watched the film from the orange and white game as him as the starting premier back? He's got some wheels man not to mention he runs w/ authority so he's hard to bring down as well. I see good things from Poole.

Poole is very solid, but Coker was elite imo.

I'm not saying that's all we need is speed at RB. But we've got the traditional backs now I want a speed back or two.

David Oku is that man. He isn't a traditional 4 down back. He's a playmaker of sorts.
