Just to stay on track I say its Gronk too… Now to the real reason for my post @Freak I have wondered at the amount of advertising money spent , they give away 100K schollys like candy in multiple games (with 25K runner ups too), and I think how in the hell can they sell enough DP to recover the money.
Then I thought about my business where I have multiple fountain drinks for over 10 years. When I opened my son was about 12 or 13 and he said dad you have to put in diet DP and DP. I hate the taste of the stuff (and really only have about 6 sodas a year)but I said I'll get DP but not Diet DP. After 6 months of sales and listening to "why don't you have Diet DP?" I brought in diet DP next to DP. Those two combined are the #1 and 2 sellers and exceed revenue on all the other sodas (glass bottle real sugar, and multiple Pepsi products fountain drinks, lemonade) added together. My absolute #1 bev. is our fresh brewed Luzziane sweet tea so no surprise there.
Somebody likes, buys and supports them for the kind of money they are spending on marketing. Just was really surprising to me how many people do drink it.

As a kid growing up in Knoxville in the 70’s I always preferred Mr. Pibb over Dr. Pepper. When I moved to Ohio in 1980 Mr. Pibb was impossible to find, I guess back then it was more a southern thing.

Also I remember doing the 1979 St. Jude Walkathon in downtown Knoxville where Mello Yello was introduced for the very first time. They gave free samples to all the walkers. Wasn’t a big fan.

If they ever ran the commercial during the game, I must have been in the loo.

Well that was disappointing. Guess they spent all the "actor" money on schollys for the chilens lol

Who is The Boz?

I thought the Fansville nightmare would be over now that the season is but last night I saw they have a "offseason" one now promoting next Fall's new campaign.....

Better than the Larry Culpepper series.

Nah, at least Larry had some funny ones. None of these have been that funny. And this ending was dumb even for them.

I was thinking it would end up being Culpepper coming back for revenge.
