I don't think I really need to explain what got me thinking about this. Rank the coaches who you consider to be among the biggest cheaters in NCAA history.

I admittedly don't know a lot about this subject, which is basically why I started the thread. Just a few I can think of.

1. Wooden
2. Rupp
3. Osborne if the roids program was as big as I've heard.

I'd put Rupp #1 not only for his cheating but he also taught Bear Bryant how to cheat.

I admittedly don't know much about Basketball... Other than the "Jump shot" was invented here in Laramie. I'd be interested to learn about Wooden or Rupp cheating.

As for football
1. Bobby Collins
2. Jackie Sherrill
3. Barry Switzer

Interesting that Sherrill is on your list. Bear Bryant has to be tops on this list, IMO.

Look up "Kentucky basketball point shaving scandal." Should tell you all you need to know about Rupp.

He used big oil boosters to pay stud athletes while he was head coach at Texas A&M. They were put on probation for it too.

How involved was Rupp with that? Doesn't make sense that he would throw games, but I don't really know.

I still wouldn't put him high on the list unless I knew more about him cheating at Bama where he was far more successful, although I doubt he suddenly became very honest. Still doesn't really pass Wooden, in my opinion.
