I am seeing fewer stupid shots from behind the 3 point line. In the past, Woolridge would have thrown something up. He did miss a couple of them today, but they were not bad shots at all.

They can play from behind and win. They can finish and seal the deal, unlike last years team. Still very poor at the line, but much improved at finishing. At least we have guys in that can hit lay-ups instead of watching Tyler Smith completely melt down in the paint by not using the back board. We have our "Mr. fundamentals" playing well

If you had posted this before the game today, I would have agreed. We would have been able to rebuild most of Haiti's buildings with all of the bricks that we made from the 3 point line today. It was very frustrating to watch.

Mcbee took one bad 3(and that was rushed), but other than that, they were open and set.

Good points. They do stay composed and comeback well. Players are ALL taking the ball deeper into the paint and it has helped a ton.

The only 2 things I see is when a team switches to zone we tend to play sluggish for several minutes trying to figure out what is going on. The other thing is Pearl leading the offense on the fly. He has done well but sometimes there are less than 15 seconds left on the shot clock by the time the play is set. If the play breaks down then we have to rush the shot.

Oh well. It happens. Teams have bad nights shooting. The only problem with coming back on Ole Miss against a team late in the tourney is I expect we wont see such poor Post play. The difference I believe would be point guard play and Maze needing to do a better job on defense.
