Biggest memory from last season, and what will top it this year?

I was Halloween camping with the family the day of the Bama game. Made chili and had a TV with a cheap antenna that I taped to the roof of the camper. Ran the channels about 6 times and finally picked up a good CBS feed. Ate chili and drank and and had a fire and watched the game surrounded by nature and other campers decked out in Halloween decorations.

When that final kick happened I just started screaming. Loud. Just into the air. Not a scream of joy—although joy was a factor. It was a scream of relief. A scream that had built for 15 years. It felt so good.

Then we turned off the TV and went trick or treating. It was a great day.

My son, my wife and I smashed every pumpkin we had bought in the street and in yard after we beat Alabama last year 😂
I had to work the next day and man o man what a mess in the street the next day.
seeds and pumpkin guts everywhere 😆

we had a pumpkin plant voluntarily come back in the yard this year ❤️ love child of 2022

I've watched Tennessee football for over 30 years. I have a good memory of all the big games over that time. I consider the Alabama game the best and most dramatic of them all. I won't ever forget it. That's my biggest memory from last year.

Unless we win a national championship against Georgia, I'm not sure there is anything that will ever top beating Bama. The emotions of 15 straight seasons of getting beat by them were all pent up over and then released. Watching the madness with dixieland delight playing in the background was priceless.

I wasn't a fan yet of Tennessee to experience the national championship, but I imagine the feeling of winning it is similar as that of the Bama game.

With that said, I'd love to embarass Florida in the swamp and send their fans home early. I'm trying to make it in person as well to witness the visceral live. That would be great!

Biggest memory from last season?

Honestly-that one or two seconds there where it was somewhat unclear as to whether or not McGrath had made the kick vs Alabama

One of the only times in my life when life has literally stood perfectly still.

I don’t know how anyone can say anything was bigger last year than beating bama. The only thing that will top that in my mind is an undefeated season. Beating all 3 of uga/bama/uf and/or an sec championship would make me indescribably happy as well.

Beating Bama was tops, losing Hooker a close 2nd.
OP said biggest memory. You hate to see “class“ get such a sad finish.

Near perfect start to the season: 1st play, interception and 2nd play, TD against Ball State
Looking at the Vols-Bama score on my wife's phone and seeing the final score.
The absolute beat-down we put on Kentucky.
After the season was over, I finally got to watch the Vols-LSU game. That was a complete team victory.
What a great season.

The roar of the crowd is the ball sailed through for victory at the end of the Alabama game at Neyland stadium.

Living in Pittsburgh for a couple years, being able to see downtown Pittsburgh painted in Orange and walking out of the stadium singing Rocky Top was an amazing experience and brought a little bit of home up to my new home that really helped my homesickness.
