Addison won it last year with 100 receptions and 17 tds. If Hyatt sees more looks the rest of the year he should be in the 7-10 receptions a game range. That would get him in the same ballpark by the end of the year. He’s already sitting at 10 tds on the season so I wouldn’t be surprised if he surpassed 17 when it’s all said and done. And maybe the biggest thing is he already had his “moment” that every voter is going to remember.

Tillman coming back could actually help him get more catches, imo, as long as Tillman shows opponents enough to be their #1 priority. I think it helps Hyatt and McCoy both.

I'm quite sure that stopping the deep throw to Hyatt will be the No. 1 defensive priority of our opponents going forward. The free safety is going to play a bit deeper than he might have otherwise--and he will certainly eyeing Hyatt a lot.

Marcus Nash has the single season record for TD receptions (13 in 1997)
Figure that record will be broken.............

Of course, but don't you think if Bru and Tillman stretch the field it helps get Hyatt open for looks? We only play two teams (maybe just 1) with the personnel to stop that deep ball. I was thinking they'd try Hyatt on shorter slants when Tillman comes back, I don't know. Either way, should be a fun second half of the season.

A lot of people thought that record might fall this year. Not many of those people expected Hyatt to be the one to do it.

Gee golly, I wonder why….. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Well because half his tds came in one game and there are other good receivers out there. And he also has to share with Tillman bru and keyton going forward. If he doesnt start catching more balls per game he won’t have a shot I don’t think.

His looks may go down once’s Tillman is back.

You don't think Alabama was doing that?

His 78 yarder....his 49 yarder he beat the deep safety because of his speed and the safety try to defend the deep middle.

We haven't seen it yet, but MccCoy is a dude that can take it to the house if you don't take a proper angle.

Our offense is a nightmare for safeties to defend.

And remember against Akron, Hyatt caught a drag route and burned the safety from underneath. Outran him to the endzone.

You can't just play a safety deep to stop Hyatt in THIS offense.
