I seen an interview with Buckner after he threw out the first pitch and whew you could just see the pain, the emotion, and relief. Glad to see the fans give him some love! To be honest you can't help feel for this guy.

With apologies to the exceptions to the rule, Red Sox fans are some of the most two-faced, pathetic people on the planet.

They should have invited Bill long before the recent world series they've won. I have a feeling Bill thought long and hard about spurning the Red Sox's offer to appear.
