According to ESPN, sources say Cowher is prepared to return to coaching. Is interested in Giants, Dolphins, and Texans, in that order.

I am more than a little baffled by his interest in the Dolphins. With the Giants you have a solid if not spectacular QB, a good running game, at least the foundation of a solid defense, and the draw of it being New York. With the Texans, you have the pieces of what could be an unbelievably good offense. In Miami, you have South Beach, but you have zero redeeming qualities in the football team.

Texans? Is that code for Cowboys? No way Jerry lets him go to Houston.

Out of that list, I see him in Miami

If this is true, Bill Cowher would surely make the New York Giants the team to beat in the NFC, considering all the talent they have on that team.

Makes the most sense as well.

Cowher coached in an Erhardt-Perkins system for an eternity in Pittsburgh.

He wouldn't miss a beat in Miami or NY.

Agreed..I also believe that Houston would be a perfect fit as well. They love their football in that city ,and with all the weapons they have on offense, they'll be just fine with a good offensive coordinator. With Cowher though, he could turn around their defense since he is a defensive guru. That is one place I do not want to see Cowher end up coaching at. Of course, I have obvious reasons.

If you're Miami you've got to be all in on Cowher then. Let Sparano go coach Dallas and replace the whole offensive staff. Outcoach Rex.

Boom.

I just wish cincy could pony upthe dough to get him there, as much as I hated losing to him when he was at Pitt u gotta respect the hell out of the man. I'd love for him to come in and clean up the team, dump the t.o ocho blow show, straighten palmers butt out and build something that would actually resemble a defense out of all of our great but underachieving players.

so New York would really consider another coach after their current one just won them a super bowl 3 years ago?
