Bill's fishing show started out on WBHQ-TV, its' home from 1968 to 1981. It was carried by ESPN 1981-1989, TNN 1989-2002, and Outdoor Life Network (OLN) 2003-2012. Since 2012, Bill Dance Outdoors has been carried by NBCSN.
Bill Dance Outdoors is still producing new episodes. It is the oldest, longest continuously running fishing show in the USA. Arguably, it's the most popular.
I meet Bill @ an outdoor Ducks Unlimited event once. Super nice guy for sure. I asked him a bass fishing strategy question thinking he would give me some 10 second reply well he talked & talked & talked on for 20 minutes. He is the real deal for sure.
He must really love Tennessee cause he could make millions wearing another hat with a company logo on it
He lives around Collierville which is where I grew up. My brother sees him often and he has even given him some rods and such. He seems to be a genuinely nice guy.

I like a lot of them but the one that always makes me laugh, even after watching it I don't know how many times, is the reaction to the snake dropping on him. (There's some others included in this link)
