Tennessee head coach Dave Serrano filled out the full-time portion of his coaching staff on Monday when he announced the addition of childhood friend and former colleague Bill Mosiello as the team's recruiting coordinator and hitting coach.
i guess the time has come where i feel more positives than negatives for UT athletics....Still have concerns that the new B-ball coach can hang in this conference and i am literally praying for Brother Derek.....Things do seem to be better overall.....i do like the baseball staff that has been put in place....There are bonds in place before they gathered here......Hope they really enjoy their ride here together.
try to bring in 2-4 more players, but are already over the scholarship limits, the rules are different, but yeah, gonna try to get some guys, there are some sleepers out there....Gotta lock down this area, gottam make sure this is where they WANT to go.
Half the roster is playing all over the place, in a perfect world I'd like to fly all over and see the kids play, maybe Dave will be able to get up to Cape Cod and see some of the guys. We'll have to talk to scouts, some people familiar with the program about the roster. We'd love to make sure everybody's on board, it's a tough situation, with recruiting and all.
He made a comment about the timing of his decision was like "career suicide" in terms of Pro jobs. Sort of made it sound like he was going to be around for a while.
Thanks for the updates as usual '66. If you can get a chance to link that interview I would be appreciative. No luck with my phone on such endeavors. Posted via VolNation Mobile
I'm excited just like the Jared Allen said in the article... you can feel the excitement/enthusiasm in the coaches when they speak of UT baseball. I could only imagine the excitement these young men feel! Posted via VolNation Mobile
