He's not going anywhere but frankly what he has done up at Penn St this year is nothing short of a miracle due to what they've been thru. Penn St will hold on to him as tight as LSU with Miles.

Bill O'Brien isn't going to leave anytime soon with considering what his players and that school have endured in the last year or so.

What he did was good but not great. He capitalized on having a core of seniors with a big chip on their shoulder who were out to prove something. They are going away and won't be there next year. Next year is when he will really have to earn his Coach of the Year title.

Penn St needed stability and that buyout provides it. Same type of thing any school considering say a Bobby Petrino could do to protect itself for it's coach bailing out early from his contract.
