Billy may keep his job.

I wouldn't put too much stock in that win. I see it as no different than Jeremy Pruitt's 2018 win over Auburn.

After our Gator game I would have traded Nico for Lagway straight up. Nico might have a higher ceiling (tonight is his first real test) but Lagway came in and took us to the limit.

True. Freshman.

Fire away.

Big win for Napier, but he’s still on the hot seat. However, if he can do this again next week vs Ole Miss at home, and then beat FSU to end the season at 7-5 with a chance to go 8-5 after a bowl game, the entire outlook of his job status changes. But if his normal pattern holds, he’ll lose to Ole Miss next week. He’s never been able to string wins together. He’s had some pretty big wins - Utah, Tennessee, So Carolina a couple times, won at aTm, but he never has winning streaks. So we’ll see.

I will say this - if it keeps DJ Lagway around, you gotta bring the guy back. My God that kid is special special.

I'm confident a number of schools will make a run at Lagway. We are going to have to massively up his $1.1 million NIL deal. I'm guessing $3 million.

AD already basically said Billy gets one more year prior to that game.
