to the Chargers. At least the weather is nicer on the bench in san Diego than in Nashville, Billy.Looks like things took an interesting twist as well...
"I never at anytime in my career have gone into such detail (about a trade). But I felt the responsibility, as Billy felt he was thrown under the bus," Fisher said. "Billy threw this organization under the bus, along with a number of his teammates."

Definatley some hard feelings between Fisher and Billy. Anyone in Tennessee got a inside to what it's all about?

So far no teammates have come out spoke in a negative manner towards Billy Volek. I think Coach Fisher is not telling the whole truth about the situation. And possible making up some things to keep the fans from turning on him

Super Bowl coach... backup QB... I think I'll go with the coach on this one.

Super Bowl coach is paying Kerry Collins 2 million bucks to be his quarterback this year. Collins quarterback rating is 3.6 in 2 games. I feel Billy Voleks quarterback ratings would be better than collins. However Coach Fisher went with Collins.

I'd give Fisher more credibility than I would Volek.

If they honestly thought Volek was the best option, he would've been starting. For whatever reason he apparently wasn't. Which is saying a lot if Collins looks better.

Wow allvol123, not one "Titans suck" post from you yet? Are you feeling well?

I don't feel the need to say it as they are doing quite well in proving it on the field.

I never have liked the Titans, but I did feel like Fisher was a good coach. This deal seems shady to me though. If they knew they all of this in 2005, why wait 10 days before the season to acquire Collins? The Titans look goofy in this deal. Exactly who did Volek throw under the bus?

I guess Fisher is claiming that repeatedly demanding to be traded is throwing his team under the bus.

We'll never really know though. Volek will ride the bench wherever he goes, and Fisher will have a new HC job within a year or two.

I always thought Volek could be a solid fit starting for the Titans. As far as Fisher "paying" Collins to be his starting QB, last time I checked Jeff was just the head coach. I'm one of the few on here that think Vince Young could be a pretty good starting QB. IT'll take a few seasons and right now I think it's fair to say the Titans are "rebuilding" for the future. Put VY in the lineup and lets see what happens, it CAN'T be worse than a Collins lead offense.

The best the offense has looked this year was actually when Young was in the game.

He went right down the field against the Jets before throwing a pick in the endzone and he led their only scoring drive last week in mop-up duty.
