Anyone else get an earful of bitter ND fans calling in to talk radio this morning and complaining that Musburger called the game like an Ohio State fan? Makes me LMAO  . I hate ND more than I hate Bama. Serves them right.

How can they say that all i heard on the pregame show was Charlie Weiss this and Brady Quinn that. Besides i guess Quinns sister is a celebrity now as many times as they showed her on TV. I didnt mind that part.

You've got to be kidding me. Musbooger talked about Notre Dame all night.

That is hilarious; all of my friends this morning said he called the game like a Notre Dame fan!

My, my, how biased some people can be.

What was he supposed to do, suck up to the losing team? LOL

From what I can tell the thing that most upset the ND fans was use of the term "buckeye buttkickin'" on two occassions.

The ND defense gave up 617 yards . . . Buckeye Buttkickin' was too gentle a description.

Yeah. I think the ND people just bought into the pregame hype. Kind of like some people bought into their team being ranked #3 in the preseason and then get pissed when things did not work out so well.

I complained a lot that he sounded like he was pulling for the privileged, by the NCAA and ESPeeN, dudes from South Bend.

Did my heart good to see Ohio State take them to the woodshed!!!

From what I could tell, he called it down the middle... It would be hard not to sound like an OSU fan, though, after that shellacking.

Even though I dislike Notre Dame, I really like Charlie Weiss. The media sure makes it hard to do that though with their constant idolizing.

When asked if Ohio State was going to be the best defense he has faced, he asked if they've seen Tennessee or something to that effect. Thought that was nice of him to give our D props like that. They certainly didn't get the praise they mostly deserved this year.

Yeah, that was pretty cool. Of course, Musberger had no reply. He made a point to say later in the game that OSU was DEFINITELY the best defense ND had faced... correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't UT's defense only give up 20 or so points to ND as well? The rest were returns or extremely short-field situations.

Whatever and whoever Musburger is covering at any given time is what he considers to be the greatest. He has elevated overdramatization to an art form.
