Which version? The original cut, the directors cut, or the second directors cut?

Although Ford may have deadpanned it a little too much, I liked the voice over narration. It gave quality background to his character. "The Final Cut" did clean up some errors that needed to be cleaned up, such as the dove flying away from Batty into a clear blue sky when it was raining. Great movie... "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attacks ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion..." Classic scene.

so if Ford is in the new movie and has aged that proves he was not a replicant correct?

Weren't the replicants indistinguishable from regular humans? Aging would be part and parcel to the genetic engineering package.

With Ridley Scott being at the helm, I figure we have an even money chance of this being a worthy successor to the original.

However, the final cut which includes Deckard's vision of the unicorn and ends with him pondering the unicorn origami Gaff left behind, makes no sense unless Deckard is a replicant - so who knows? I always liked that they left it so ambiguous. Blade Runner leaves a lot of things unexplained and let's the audience think things out. Not many movies do that.

Saw the new trailer today, have to say I'm underwhelmed. The original was so far ahead of its time it was mesmerizing. This one just looks like another cgi fest and some of the dialogue cuts "Find him!" were very very lame.

I don't put much stock in trailers one way or the other but I disagree with this. I think it looks promising and the line of dialogue that I took from it was Leto's line, "Every civilization is built off the back of a disposable workforce. But I can only make so many. Happy Birthday." That sums up a theme pretty well. At first glance they appear to try and be expanding on the dystopian landscape which just stuck to the metropolis of L.A. in the original. I'm looking forward to it.

It just isnt breaking any new ground like the original. Just looks like another futuristic movie that gives a cheap throwback to Dekard. I hope im wrong.
