On no other foreign policy issue since the Cold War's end has the truth been so easy to establish on the basis of hard facts but so hard for Americans to see that Muslim hatred is motivated by U.S. intervention more than any other factor." - Michael Scheuer, Formerly of the CIA and author of Through Our Enemies' Eyes

Hmmm....

Yep... must have been why they invaded Eastern Europe 100's of years ago... US intervention.

This is a person in denial of what a fundamentalist Muslim believes. ANYONE who obstructs the "Peace of Allah" resides in the "World of War". The Peace of Allah... is when the whole world is ruled by Islam both religiously and politically.

What does that have to do with modern day US foreign policy?

These guys aren't protesting philosophic differences

Is this thread about gay athletes??

Or is the header misleading?

To start with, moslem hatred isn't because of anything the USA has done, it is because of what islam teaches it's adherants, most of whom can expect a death penalty verdict if they choose to leave the despotic creed of islam.

Virtually all domestic Islamic terrorists in the US cite US foreign policy as the reason for their actions. This includes recent perpetrators Nidal Malik Hasan and Faisal Shahzad.

A combination of religious ideals that flow into our foreign policies. Both feed off each other.

They certainly don't hate us for our "freedom".

Also, another illustration of our backward foreign policy...We give $3 billion in aid annually to Israel. We give $6 billion in aid annually to her neighbors (enemies).

While we bicker over the miniscule budget cuts in Ryan's plan ($50 B), we are mostly unaware we gave $60 B to Egypt* during Mubarek's reign. I can see a lot of easy ways to cut spending and provide better national defense.

*Weird how warhawk neo-conservatives are so philosophically opposed to domestic welfare, but see global welfare as a necessity.
