Blown roughing punter no call

No public accountability for sure. Wish the league would share their internal reviews with the public
Call me a conspiracy theorist but I don't even think they do those unless it is an entire game full of egregious crap.

I theory this sounds like a good idea but I am not really in favor of putting the refs any more out in the public than they currently are. 15 years ago maybe I would. Remember Friday night Ole Miss fans upset about a call? In the era of doxxing this may not be a good idea.

Thankfully, it wasn’t a close game where this bad call could have been relevant……

This was a terrible no call. The punter is in the air, completely defenseless and gets textbook form tackled.

I will say that when West sacked and slammed the Vandie QB, I was shocked a flag didn't come out. Should it have been a penalty? No. But, in today's game with all the ticky tack roughing the passer calls, I was looking for a flag. He was literally body slammed and went head first onto the turf. Again, should it have been? No. Just surprised it wasn't.....

They should tie the refs' salary to the grades they get, including blown calls. The only sure way to get job performance improvement is to tie a person's income to how well they actually perform on the job.

If the game is close, I would worry about it. Our offense was clicking so well that we could overcome any penalty within a play or two.

I am most worried about our punter getting hurt. Refs call targeting or roughing the passer at the drop of a hat to protect qb or ball carrier. The punter needs special protection too. He is very exposed with that leg extended

They called a penalty on Vandy for leaping during an extra point, but I saw SC do it at least two times against us. Did anyone else notice this? I was yelling at my screen the first time. I then thought that maybe it wasn't a penalty anymore when it happened again.

I only saw the replay once, but I thought that the defender’s hand was close to touching the ball before making contact with the punter.
