Why isn't he getting any mention. Good hard nosed football coach who tells it how it is. He is honest with players and doesn't have teams with off the field issues. He has had SEC ties and his defensive scheme would probably be a + for UT. Thoughts?

I think everyone will be on board with the defensive minded guy that just allowed a 8-5 Wisonsin team to put up 70 points on him...

Wouldn't justify pelini's defensive philosophy as bad based on 3 games...granted they were bad

Did we learn the last time to not pass on somebody just because they got 70 points put on them?

247 reporting he may be next on the list. I don't see him leaving Neb. though. It look's like he's got it good he makes $2.775 per year and #1 in the conference. Unless they are planning on making a $4.5-5 mil. then we would be lucky if he came.

The big killer here is you only have 3 maybe 4 years to make it work and on top of that the competition. Saban, Spurrier, Richt and Muschamp are regular opponents. Then add in recruiting and talent that will be left. Bray, CP and Hunter are all very questionable.

This is scary!!!

His defense sucks this year cuz his brother left and these are finally all his players and hes not a good recruiter they easily could of lost to Michigan state Iowa and northwestern if it had not been for some crazy play by Martinez which is how he has won recently, never has a good offense A lot of Nebraska would not care if he left
