Bob Dole passed away at 98

Funny story is that a friend and I were in Dole's senate leader's office (gorgeous) for a meeting with him when the staffer came in to tell us he couldn't make the appointment as something had come up. We walked around inside the capital a bit and then catch a cab to Union station to have a drink and wait for the next meeting. On TV, we see Dole announcing that he was running for Pres. I thought dang, that is the best ever excuse to get out of a meeting lol

I didnt care much for McCain but Bob Dole was a decent man, patrician tho he was, from another time.
