Reports are that the University of Cincinnati's all-time winningest coach will be fired or "forced to resign" (don't see much of a difference there) within the next 24 hours.

One would assume it has something to do with the new academic rating system. Cincinnati Basketball has been among the worst programs ever at graduating players (don't know the exact numbers).

I heard a news blurb that indicated the Univ. was concerned about the character of the players that Huggins has recruited over the years.

There's a shocker . . . Bob Huggins and questionable character in the same sentence.

What was the deal though? Is it just because he wasn't cutting it in the tourney? As I understand it, his graduation rate got up to at least decent levels in recent years. Strange. Plus Cincy loves that guy.

Horrible academic record, questionable players, a DUI caught on tape, and not winning the big ones.
