A few questions to chew on here:

Just curious. In Neyland, they treat the families to seats in the north end zone and food/beverages in the Wolf-Kaplan Center.

Will recruits come to the Battle of Bristol?

Is this the experience they want recruits to absorb, or is Neyland a better venue for a recruit and their family?

Quick question, I keep seeing BoB on the forum here, should't it be BaB

Isn't it called Battle at Bristol and not of.

BoB is better.
Battle of Bristol has a much better ring to it than Battle at Bristol.
Plus, it makes the venue sound like a Civil War battle site.

Battle in Brisol or BiB would be the best ...........IMO

Hopefully we are referring to it as "the day Tennessee Football returned to the national scene"

Why would anyone recruit take an official visit that's not in knoxville? You want to OV to the place that you will be living in for the next four years.

Because nothing screams "COME PLAY HERE" like winning the largest single sporting event in modern history?

Even the biggest soccer stadiums in the world are smaller than Neyland, and Bristol is going to be 50k more than Neyland.

No can do. Per the NCAA:

What is an official visit? Any visit to a college campus by you and your parents paid for by the college. The college may pay all or some of the following expenses:

* Your transportation to and from the college;
* Room and meals (three per day) while you are visiting the college; and
* Reasonable entertainment expenses, including three complimentary admissions to a home athletics contest.

The lodging & entertainment must be within 30 miles of the college's campus.

Trey Smith making the trip. Other Recruits going to Bristol game...

"Elijah Conliffe s a possibility to make it to the game. Several 2018 and 2019 targets are planning on making the drive, too, like four-star players Christian Armstrong and Malik Vann as well as Justice Dingle, Owen Pappoe and Kenyatta Watson.

Also expected to be in Bristol this weekend are a number of committed players. CJ Lewis, Riley Locklear, 2019 commitment Kendrell Scurry, Prince Fant and Eric Crosby are all slated to be in Bristol."

Coaches cannot have any contact with any recruit or family members at this game. Each prospective recruit, in attendance, was given 3 tickets to the game but that's all they get. Family members and recruits will have seats in the stands and nothing else. No side line pass, no locker room pass, no contact. Just a game.
