Bob Stoops

Stoops has to be the most overrated coach in the country. Once called big game Bob, he is now bad loss Bob in my mind. Maybe we will stop hearing his name every time a big job comes open. Anybody think Oklahoma is heading down quickly??

Honestly, I respect HCBS' decision to go for it. Lack of discipline by the o-lineman changed the games complexion---no penalty OU scores the go-ahead TD with time winding down game over. JMO

Nothing wrong with Stoops in my mind. His defense isn't great this year, or just takes naps at times.

My wife's family are Sooners fans. Big Game Bob is a reference to how he can't win the big game. They simply gave RG3 too much time. Losing Broyles really hurt this team.

No doubt you could have another thread about mac brown but look at these losses of stoops in the last 3 years. Way to many defeats where he had a huge talent gap. All those expect Texas fall into that pattern. He will compete for conference titles yes but one can assume they are going to lose a couple games a year they shouldn't therefore no national titles in his future. He would be way down my wish list if needing to hire a coach.

Not until after a number of guys said no first. Not a top tier guy anymore. Most will disagree but he stock is falling fast
