From Eurobasket.com. Maze is the site's Player of the Week. WOOOO!!

25-year old guard Bobby Maze (191-G-86) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Minsk-2006 and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6 (Second Stage).

He had the game-high 15 points adding four rebounds and eight assists for Minsk-2006 in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Grodno-93 (#2, 25-5) with 43-point margin 106-63. It allowed Minsk-2006 to consolidate first place in the Belarusian league. Minsk-2006 has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 29-1. Maze just recently signed at Minsk-2006, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of Tennessee graduate has very impressive stats this year. Maze is in league's top in points (5th best: 14.5ppg), assists (5th best: 4.2apg) and averages solid 61.4% FGP.

Very glad to see this.

He's been keeping the NBA dream alive, in his own mind anyway. Don't know if that will happen, but he's not giving up. Hope he gets a shot.

His team scored 106 points and he was the leading scorer with 15? Hmm.. That's some unselfish basketball..

Haters gonna hate; but Bobby is getting to play professionally and make good money as well as having the opportunity to experience other cultures while he is young enough to enjoy it. Whether that leads to the NBA or not, it is still a very worthy use of this time and efforts.

Yes, it is better than being 25 years old, a high school basketball coach, earning $36,000 a year and not traveling. In addition to that, he earned a college degree, which was at no cost to him.

If he's one of the best players in a good Euro league, he's making six figures a year. So, I'd say that's still better than all of that, and he's just barely old enough to rent a car. Yeah, I think he's fine.

Great to hear! I always thought he was a long shot for the league but i'm happy he's making good money playing professionally somewhere. But that country sucks lol.
