Next ime schedule a top tier sec team like bama, lsu, or fl. Then you'll be doing something. You only beat Pac 10 teams and acc teams. Even though I love how they play they don't deserve a title game until they switch conferences or schedule 3 top tier games a year. Which they would loose two. Vt was the perfect team for them to play. Lots of talent but they always blow 2 games a year. Nice scheduling bronco's.

so you're saying that no matter what Boise St accomplishes this year it means nothing because a team that they scheduled last year and was a pre-season top 10 lost a game they in theory shouldn't have? SO Boise St can go undefeated and they deserve nothing, but what a week ago seemed like a great win is pointless because the team you beat lost this week.

where is jtraindavis at when you need someone called a moron. so according to your theory, i know it's unlikely but, if Ole Miss were to beat Alabama that would in turn make bama terrible since ole miss lost to a div 2 school and if then after that tennessee were able to pull one out against bama, that victory would mean nothing since bama lost to a team that lost to a div 2 team.

Boise St wanted to play bama and bama said no. You can't fault Boise St for trying to improve their schedule and teams being scared to play them. I wonder about how good they really are too, but they've yet to fail.

quit making up nonsense. I said BOISE is screwed. Not bama. Everyone knows they have to have quality wins to hold on to that top ranking. Your argument is just nonsense. I doubt they go undefeated anyway.

YOUR argument is nonsense and smacks of homerism. Not every college football team is in the SEC. I don't know why you even mentioned LSU, as they don't look to be anything special this year and I would take BSU over them in a heartbeat.

Boise State beat the team that just rocked our Vols two years in a row. They've played as good of teams as would play them.

and if boise gets left undefeated they're going to drop down a week that they won a game for a 1 loss team?

and what happens if Va tech goes all 2007 michigan and pretty much wins almost every game from here on out to end up ranked at year's end

season's far from over for alot of teams

It doesn't mean Boise sucks, but that loss does hurt their chances. Even if VaTech does pull an 07 Michigan and wins most of the remaining games, the computers will certainly penalize them for losing to JM.

This hurts BSU but not in a big way. That and the first two games are not the nails in the coffin.

I have no doubt they'll still go to the BCS, but for their NC dreams this might hurt.
