TruTV in a few minutes. Derrick Marks is one of the best players you haven't watched, so get to know him.

Looks like some people don't like the First Four...good game so far, Dayton's best player just picked up his third foul with six minutes left in the first half.

It's pretty ridiculous that Dayton got to play in their home gym. And got the no call.

I left the tv for a few minutes with Boise leading and when I get back Dayton is up with a few seconds left. Pretty exciting game, shame it had to end with a controversial no call though.

Hot take: it's about time the officials stopped calling the lean-in shot foul. That's consistently a terrible call.

Boise got screwed simply by drawing Dayton in Dayton. I have no earthly idea why the committee couldn't slide UCLA or Indiana in there instead. On the whole, strangest lower-seed selections/seedings since at least 2011.

I've been to dayton several times for the tourney. It's a great spot - in fact I think I like watching games there more than any other tourney venue I've been to. The fans are friendly and they turn out no matter who plays. They should just keep it in the regular first and second round rotation. There are plenty of teams in the area to use it as a site.

Dayton was also an 11 seed last year and I thought it was explained during the selection show that we were in the 'first four' instead of them (even though we had played a much tougher schedule and were ahead of them in every conceivable index) because the committee couldn't place them at home? Did something change between this year and last that makes it okay now?

I agree that Dayton seems like a good venue for the tournament and it's fine that they are a regular host like Charlotte, Greensboro and Lexington are but these first four games should each be played at the site where the winner will be advancing. Seth Davis is full of crap when he says this was an unavoidable situation. Attendance must really be hurting as a whole if the NCAA cares about it even for these play in games.

I recall that as well

The committee changes every year and they're hardly consistent with their reasoning in a single tournament let alone year to year. They pretty much do whatever the hell they want and just give bs reasons
