Boise State narrows gap on TCU in BCS standings - College Football - Rivals.com

the last line says it all.
with one game left
“TCU is done making their case. They’re out of the national spotlight,” Palm said. “Boise has the floor to themselves to do what they can. That’s an advantageous position to be.”

now is the time for BSU to get NASTY and get medieval..pull out all the stops...score as many as you can. all it is going to take is a slip my ether/or "burn/Ducks and The Broncos are playing for a NC!!!!!

Running up the score is going to hurt them.

Running up the score will do nothing at all. They are ahead of TCU in both human polls. They trail in the BCS solely because of the computers, which are not allowed to use margin of victory.

Boise needs to hope for an Alabama victory and a poor showing by Auburn in the SEC title game. They should also hope that the media doesn't fall in love with another big conference team. I honestly hope they find a way in.

If Auburn loses to Bama, I don't see how they make a comeback to jump BSU/TCU this late in the season, even with a win in the SECCG. I'm hoping for an Oregon loss to Arizona, which is possible.

Defeating Nevada and Fresno by solid margins will leave a decent perspective into voters head while TCU finishes with the powerhouse New Mexico. Of course this is all moot if Auburn and Oregon run the table.

After the polls came out today, I now think that if Oregon or Auburn lose one and Boise State beats Fresno State and Nevada by comfortable margins... it's BSU in the Title Game.

I'm actually kinda hoping for a BSU/UO rematch. Auburn has to lose first though, obviously.

Again, the voters already have Boise ahead of TCU.

I hope Auburn wins out and then vacates it in 2 years. CFB doesn't deserve a national champion.

So what if TCU and Boise win out, Oregon and Auburn both lose a game? Would we get Boise and TCU in the title game?
