Some brave souls are already on site. And it has to HOT AF.

We're delaying till Friday. 3 days is more than enough these days. Anyone else going?

And the usual lineup poster so people can shiz on it 😁 It's not the greatest, but we have about 30 people we're interested in seeing. Headliners are meh, but mid and undercard make up for it.

I saw Alison Krauss play with the Allman Bros the only time I attended.... so good.

Would love to see Goose, Tool, Zach Bryan, Porter Robinson, Nora en Pure... but that's a lot of fluff for 3 days of inferno hellfire heat with stinky people.

Guess I'm old.

they commodified the $hit out of it, stacked it with pop headliners (MGK are you fing for real), and raised the price. No thanks.

MGK is literally the only "pop" headliner lol.

But yeah I agree he stinks.

Still dozens of good artists and the experience is unparalleled vs any other festival we've gone to. It really isn't close. If I had to guess, Burning Man is probably the only experiential "festival" that would top it. It's simply a feast for the senses and the best vibes on earth.

I decided to work Bonnaroo this year. 12 hour shift today searching cars. It's hot out here.

Too worn out to go check out the actual stages tonight. As many shows and festivals as I attend, I've never done Bonnaroo before. I'll be venture out tomorrow.

I wanted to see Andy Frasco tonight but it's late and I'm worn out. Fortunately, he came through my gate today and I got meet the guy for a couple minutes.

This is judgemental and incredibly stupid. I'm sorry other people's interests dojn't align directly with yours.
Not at stupid as paying hundreds of dollars to watch dozens of people you wouldn’t introduce your mom to. History shows the losers are the dwellers.

Robert Plant and Allison Krauss was a good one. Played Rock and Roll and The Battle of Evermore from the Zeppelin catalog.

Goose killed it last night, or should I say earlier today. They came out Thursday and played with Andy Fresco. King Gizzard was killer too. Billy Strings is my next show and later, PPPP

Tool was good. Billy Strings was as well. Marc Reibillet was a whole ton of fun. Typically 100% improv but he was doing some songs tonight as well. Ended with the Flamingo Song.

If my Mom was alive, she would want to meet Allison Krauss and Robert Plant. She would have even loved more to meet Herbie Hancock and play with him.

You really have no idea WTF you're talking about. You want to view a know nothing loser, then look into your mirror

Woah that's cool!

We didn't come in till Friday. Got real lucky and missed the heat and storm. So much cooler today it feels great. I'm sure you were dying on Thursday. Bonnaroo is a hell of a marathon, probably a good call to take it easy early.

All the stages sound so good this year and the visuals are ridiculous. Lower attendance is wonderful too. Reminds me of 2016, great spots for every show.

If you’re over 23 and still attending festivals you may want to seek professional help to sort out your issues.
Lmao there are literally 70 year olds out here kicking it. Rich ass VIPs in their 50s. Parents with their adult children experiencing it together. Half of the crowd is 25 and up.

If your mom doesn't already know Stevie Nicks, The Chicks, Tool, Robert freakin Plant, legend Herbie Hancock, and a few others then I don't know what to say lol.

For the other 80+ artists, well I'm not sure why you'd choose shows based on what your mother may or may not like 🤣

And if you've never been, then you'll never "get it". This place is otherworldly and has amazing vibes. It would be like someone watching a UT game on TV and dumping on folks that go to Neyland without ever going. They can't grasp what a temple Neyland is and what it's like.

Well nevermind for me, Tool and Puscifer are both not streaming.
Maynard doesn't do streams. TOOL was great though. Puscifer should be weird af.

If you happened to turn it on last night then you got an absolute treat with Marc Rebillet. Seen him twice and I've never laughed so hard or smiled so much at a show. He geeks me out every time and his improvised music making is insane.

Didn't really know Billy Strings going in, but he absolutely shredded. Funny guy in between songs too. When he said he couldn't go over his set time because Maynard would "skullf*** him" I just lost it.

Marc Rebillet - Flamingo was great as well as Girl's Club. Some of his new improv stuff was crunchier than usual, really enjoyed it. I sat by the large side screen and watching the people in the crowd who clearly didn't know what they were in for was great. Some of their faces were just bewildered 🤣
