What a year for college football! SEC adds 2 teams and does away with divisions and the 12 team CFP starts. Now if only the stock market would keep going up and take my retirement account with it instead of seesawing I would be even happier.

Very smart idea in my opinion. Even if something happens and the Vols don't make it you'll be able to sell tickets to that game. I've never tried to sell a hotel reservation but I'd guess you won't lose any money on it.

Without upsets the standings would look like:

LSU 7-1
UG 7-1
Texas 7-1
A&M 6-2
UT 6-2
MIZZ 6-2
BAMA 6-2
OLE MISS 5-3
VANDY 4-4
ARK 4-4
UF 2-6

A&M could easily beat both LSU and Texas and be undefeated, which would put them both at 6-2. Add in upsets and the rest of this year could be total chaos....only option is to keep winning and see what happens.

Get high enough so a loss to UG only drops us to #9-#12, take the SEC CG week off to heal.

Of the remaining teams with a realistic shot at the SECCG, here's their remaining schedules:
Vols (3-1): UK, Miss St, uga, Vandy. Win out is possible. Also possible is losing to uga.
Tex (2-1): Vandy, fla, Arky, KY, A&M. A&M game will be huge and Vandy may give them fits.
A&M (4-0): LSU, So Car, Aub, Tex. LSU will probably beat them.
LSU (3-0): A&M, bama, fla, Vandy, OU. Should beat A&M, but who knows what happens with bama
uga (4-1): fla, Ole Miss, Vols. They could just as easily win all 3 as lose all 3.
Mizzou (2-1): bama, OU, SoCar, Miss St, Arky. Should win out, but bama is a wildcard as is Arky.
Vandy (2-1): Tex, Aub, So Car, LSU, Vols. Probably not winning more than 2 of these.

So Vols, LSU, A&M, Tex, uga, Mizzou all have a good shot to make it to Atlanta. All of them cannot win out, but we could have at least 3 teams with one SEC loss and maybe one with no SEC losses.

That’s true, no longer have to beat Georgia and Florida , and all teams have a pretty tough schedule so far.. except ole miss,Texas, and Missouri.They got pretty lucky

LSU, UG, Texas could easily be one loss teams. A&M or LSU could just as easily undefeated.
