As American families deal with a shortage of baby formula across the US, a Florida Republican lawmaker has released images of dozens of boxes of the coveted product at a migrant processing facility near the US-Mexico border.

Rep. Kat Cammack shared pictures of “pallets” of infant formula at the Ursula Migrant Processing Center in McAllen, Texas on her Twitter and Facebook pages Wednesday.

“The first photo is from this morning at the Ursula Processing Center at the U.S. border. Shelves and pallets packed with baby formula,” she wrote in a tweet accompanying side-by-side photographs of full and bare shelves. “The second is from a shelf right here at home. Formula is scarce. This is what America last looks like.”

I'm confused.

Passing through the McAllen Immigrant Center means that you've crossed legally and in accordance to established procedure and have applied for formal, legal recognition as an immigrant.

Why do the angry bunch continue to refer to people following the rules as "illegals"? Are they partisan hacks trying to influence the weak through repetitive language, are they reprobates who don't really care that they're misrepresenting the truth of the situation, or both?

And yes, I do take issue with keeping that level of stock at a government facility when grocery and big box stores are bare.

I’m sure Sally Homemaker will be thrilled to hear these are legal aliens.

Can't be a Christian nation and treat the immigrant like crap. Words matter.
I agree. If these future possible citizens have come here legally, it would be incredibly unfair to refer to them as “illegals”.

My only point was that to the average middle class mom at home, that is probably a distinction without a difference.

Becoming an American citizen should be a privilege and not a right. Coming here illegally and applying for asylum to mooch of the US taxpayer isn’t exactly doing it the right way. There’s probably Americans out there that do it too though so they don’t care.

We're not a Christian nation. Separation of church and state. Freedom of religion.

Go to Sams Club/Costco any day of the week and you will see how the supply chain is being drained.

Quit acting like being born an American citizen is anything but complete luck and requires any extra work

Let's say what you say is true and that they are following the legal process.

It is still a bad look that new Americans are able to jump the line and have access to anything before those that were already here.

Bad optics

No the extra work should be required by the rest trying to get in. I cut my own grass so I may be biased.
