I think that Brad Bates waited until the announcement fem Auburn on hiring Bruce Pearl, before he made his decision and announcement that he has fired Steve Donahue. In doing so, he avoided pressure from BC boosters to hire Bruce Pearl and knowing Brad, as I do, I don't believe he wanted to hire Bruce. They are two different people that would not jibe well.

Tommy Amaker or Chris Mooney IMO. Amaker has ACC ties and Mooney was considered before. Cooley would be the most realistic option IMO but no way BC matches his salary.
