Botched birth/ cover up in Atlanta

I started to post this in the WTF thread, but this is SO FAR out there I thought it needed it's own thread.

An Atlanta hospital back in July decapitated an infant during delivery. They then tried to hide it from the parents. Seriously how the F does that even happen? And then trying to cover it up like "oopsie". If the article is accurate I hope the family owns that hospital after this.

I didn't pay attention to the number of zeros, I was still shocked and assumed it was a lot. Only 10k? Wow

It’s poorly worded. No idea why they’d basically call it $10,000+ instead of just calling it “unspecified damages”. Common sense tells you that damages are going to be 7 or even 8 figures.

I just can't understand how this is possible. How can a trained Dr not understand how hard he was pulling. Pulling the kids head off. Then the audacity to wrap it up and pretend it didn't happen.
