Only 22% expressing strong approval, and 41% strong disapproval, overall approval/disapproval is now 45%-54%.

The Rasmussen survey shows support for the health care bill at 39% and opposition at 58%.

Democrats in Congress, now face a possible loss of control in the House, with 70 or more vulnerable seats (the Republicans with fewer than 10) and Republicans leading in races for 8 Senate seats held by Democrats. Democrats in Congress are far less popular than President Obama, and the number of Americans who think the country is heading in the wrong direction is more than twice as large as the number who think the country is heading in the right direction in the latest Rasmussen survey at 65% to 28%.

There is ample reason for Michael Barone to say the Democrats now face their worst political environment in more than half a century.

I remember all the predictions that Dem victories in 06 and 08 represented a seismic shift in voter sentiment and that the Rep party was doomed for decades. Oops.

Yeah, that was the sentiment until they figured out these clowns were trying to turn this country into Europe.

the pictures are great, however, #4 contains a pretty basic grammatical error that only serves to fuel the fires of the Obamapologists.

Oops, I missed that one.

The relationship between the American people and Barry seems to have turned out to be more of a one night stand than a love affair.

Here is an item the obozoapologists can chow down on.

The case of Rashad Hussain is disturbing on too many levels. One should not surprised that Obama appointed someone like Hussain as Special Envoy to the OIC, which seeks to outlaw free and honest discussion of Islam and undermine the national sovereignty of free nations.

Gerstein’s article also reveals that Hussain’s defense of al-Arian was part of a much broader condemnation of U.S. terrorist prosecutions, which should not be surprising since his speech took place at a conference for Muslim Brotherhood front group and he was a law student at the time. What is surprising is that he stuck up for just about every individual under indictment on terrorism charges at the time.

“Rashad Hussain Admits Making Controversial Comments; Says He Complained About Coverage”.

Mr. Hussain’s comments and the deletions from the later online versions of the WRMEA report were first reported by the GMBDR on Sunday as part of a post which revealed Mr. Hussain’s history of participation in events associated with the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. ***This history includes speaking at a May 2009 event sponsored by a number of U.S. Brotherhood organizations and which also featured individuals tied to the U.S. Brotherhood.***In almost all the media coverage of this story, Mr. Hussain’s association with the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood has been IGNORED with the attention focused solely on his comments about Al-Arian.***

In August 2008, the Obama campaign Muslim outreach adviser Mazen Asbahi RESIGNED after the Wall Street Journal disclosed his U.S. Muslim Brotherhood ties based on information developed by the GMDR. Another post has discussed the background of Dahlia Mogahed, one of two U.S. Muslims appointed to the President’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Ms. Mogahed’s background ALSO suggests ties to the global Muslim Brotherhood.

Fox has unearthed tapes of Obama Muslim Envoy Rashad Hussain telling audiences that Muslim Sharia Law should be imposed world-wide.

Hussain and Obama first denied any such remarks. Then Hussain said the remarks were from his daughter. Then the White House denied any such remarks could be attributed to anyone in the White House.

Today Fox reported that Hussain/The White House tried to go back and scrub these remarks from the record.

Today Fox aired the tapes, proving that Hussain is a radical Muslim who encourages the adoption of Sharia Law as a goal of global Jihad.

Awaiting the next response from the White House.

NASA Administrator Charlie Bolden said Tuesday that President Barack Obama has asked him to “find ways to reach out to dominantly Muslim countries” as the White House pushes the space agency to become a tool of international diplomacy.

Bolden.

“In addition to the nations that most of you usually hear about when you think about the International Space Station, we now have expanded our efforts to reach out to non-traditional partners,” said Bolden, speaking to a lecture hall of young engineering students.

.....................................

“We really like Indonesia because the State Department, the Department of Education [and] other agencies in the U.S. are reaching out to Indonesia as the largest Muslim nation in the world. We would love to establish partners there,” Bolden said.

Hitlery Clinton speaping in Qatar.

And to promote science exchanges, we have launched our science envoy program. One of our envoys, Dr. Ahmed Zewail, a Nobel Prize-winning chemist, has already visited Egypt and Turkey. And another, Dr. Elias Zerhouni, a former director of America's National Institutes of Health, is here at this forum.
............

And that is why we have increased funding for educational exchange programs for Muslim students. NASA, our space program, has partnered with the Arab Youth Venture Foundation in Dubai to give Arab and American engineering students the chance to work together on NASA missions.
..............

Our Special Representative for Muslim Communities, Farah Pandith, who leads our engagement with Muslims worldwide, not just in the places you would expect it, but in Europe, as well, is here today. And we are very pleased that President Obama announced our Special Envoy to the OIC, Rashad Hussein, who is also here, who will help drive progress across the range of issues that the OIC addresses.

That even 28% of Americans think the country is headed in the right direction is inexplicable.

Two reasons;

Brainwashing the youth of the nation.

and rampant corruption not reported by lame stream media.

For the second time in five months, the Obama White House is being accused -- by Democrats -- of offering high ranking government jobs in return for political favors. What no one is reporting is that this is a violation of federal law that can lead to prison time, a fine or both, according to Title 18, Chapter 11, Section 211 of the United States Code.

The jobs in question? Secretary of the Navy and a position within the U.S. Agency for International Development.

And publicly funded stimulus monies are used for Chicago style crony capitalism and political favors are the theme of the day.

How many companies get endorsed by the president of the United States?

When the CEO said that opening his factory wouldn't have been possible without the Obama administration, he may have known something we didn't. Last month, Obama announced a new set of tax credits for so-called green companies. One window company was on the list: Serious Materials. This must be one very special company.

Of all the window companies in America, maybe it's a coincidence that the one which gets presidential and vice presidential attention and a special tax credit is one whose company executives give thousands of dollars to the Obama campaign and where the policy officer spends nights at home with the Energy Department's weatherization boss.

Kathy Zoi, who is in charge of “weatherization” at the energy department and who oversees $16.8 billion in stimulus funds, is married to the VP of policy of Serious Materials!

Sitting with Michelle.....-- Don Karner of Phoenix, whose electric transportation engineering company received $99 million from the economic stimulus package, which helped him create at least 50 permanent clean-energy jobs....

(gee that's about $2 million per job, who's getting jobbed other than the American taxpayer?)

the guy did finally admit to his comments - that is newsworthy after all the denials.

Rashad Hussain could hardly go on with his denials since he had been captured on tape, now when will obama's white house recant their own denials??????

Attorney General Eric Holder says nine Obama appointees in the Justice Department have represented or advocated for terrorist detainees before joining the Justice Department. But he does not reveal any names beyond the two officials whose work has already been publicly reported. And all the lawyers, according to Holder, are eligible to work on general detainee matters, even if there are specific parts of some cases they cannot be involved in.
(There could be more.)

Obama has officially lost the Hillary voters and those independents foolish enough to think he was honest in much of the change he preached. He is outpacing all other presidents in his decline. LG is one of the few still hanging on to Hope.

LG has a problem admitting he is wrong about anything. :p

More on BHO appointee Rashad Hussain;

That's not the only reversal. The original magazine article, published by the Washington Report for Middle East Affairs (an outlet decidedly supportive of Al-Arian's case), deleted Hussain's comments from the online version of its story at least a year ago. That was five years after the fact. Yet, no one seemed to know why it happened or who asked for the change.

Now, Politico reports, "It was Hussain himself, he said Friday, who contacted the publication to complain about the story." He felt they were offered "without context."

So how does one contact a publication to complain
about the context of remarks that one can't remember making?

From the statements, it appears Hussain at best misled the public and his bosses in the White House. Washington isn't exactly known for the veracity of its players, but what does it say when an official starts a new position dishonestly?

(not so sure he misled his bosses in the administration, considering all the Obama speeches made to the muslim world, after all Obama and Holder seem inclined to release as many detainees as possible and are attempting to avoid the military tribunal option at all costs.)

Holder is in way over his head. This collection of "geniuses" that make up the supposedly smartest White House staff ever is an embarrassment. It's clear in every move they make they cannot come up with a coherent and unified strategy. This whole healthcare summit is nothing but a staged media event. Obama wanted to move on but then said wait we want a new bipartisan summit to get something passed. Then it moved to "here's the bill. We'll let you complain some but this is what we're sticking with."

People are seeing this is beyond politics as usual. The ironic thing is that there are some in the WH secretly hoping that the GOP does make huge strides in November so they can deflect some of the blame on a gridlocked Congress next year. They know they cannot pass anything they want and they know the issues on the table are no longer Bush's but Obama's. They need to hand off negative issues back to the GOP.
