We whiffed at DL. LB - ehh, not so sure. Otherwise, we hit a home run! I am basing this off of the situation we were put in 2-3 weeks ago.

Who knows what transfers we might pick up in the next few months. I say we hold a scholly or two or three, just in case.

It could be much worse. At least we are not Ky, Vandy. Georgia has an established coach and we beat them.

Overall, I am thrilled.

I agree with all of the above and I will add that we will NEVER be Vandy or Kentucky!!!

I am unsure about this class. It was solid but not a home run. Losing Copeland was huge. We replaced Ambles with Rogers and Hunter was a good addition. Signing a 2* DB in Sapp and signing the kid from Hoover instead of Glen Stanley was not good. UT I still behind Florida and Bama as far as talent goes. Losing Ralph Williams and Mike Taylor really depletes the LB depth. I would like to have seen a Chaz Green, Damien Robinson, or Calvin Smith to close out this class. Stone was a solid pickup.

Survived is a good choice of words. Needed another DT but other than that you can;t complain to much under the circumstances. Coach them up, surprise some teams next year now and all will be well.

If everybody had been promised the morning after Kiffin left that the class would look like this on signing day, we would have been doing backflips in celebration. Dooley had the controls of a plane in a nosedive thrust into his hands, and he did a pretty damn good job of getting the thing on the ground.

Copeland REALLY hurt, Taylor and Williams we needed.
This class needed one big suprise today with an out of nowhere OL or DL....and didn't even come close.

At least we are not Georgia today, nightmare for them....
