I know this is getting ahead of ourselves, but shoot me. It's fun. I just wanted to provide a link to the Fox Sports bowl projection, which has the Vols and Gators as the only SEC school in a BCS game. Vols in Rose Bowl versus Michigan (Gators in Sugar). That would be a great matchup for us, huh?

I really liked the outcome of the last time we played the blue and maize.

That won't happen because USC will not make it to the NC game, they may not even win the PAC-10, so we won't be playing in the Rose Bowl.

That would be great, but it would make it difficult around my house. My wife is a huge fan of the blue. So we lose and I am pissed, we win and I am in trouble.

I'll still take the win!

Agree but still would be nice. Still 8 games left including championship games for some teams.

How bout that clemson/louisville Orangebowl match-up.....Louisville wins the game but gets beat up/mugged/punked in thugville parking lot after the game.:)

This list is ridiculous. I will spontaneously combust if Boise State, Louisville, and Clemson all make it to BCS bowls. They've got Notre Dame making it, too. Notre Dame will have to have lost against USC, because they have USC in the national championship game. If that is the case, Notre Dame will have lost to the two good teams they played and almost lost to a terrible Michigan State team. Only the Irish can pull off such an undeserved ranking.

Not in my lifetime. I'm there if this were to occur.

We played in the Rose Bowl facility a few times against UCLA in the nineties. They were regular season games, though. That's actually where Peyton Manning made his debut.

Wasn't that the game Helton was hurt?

Jerry Colquitt started and got injured on Tennessee's...... first drive I think. Then Helton played and then Peyton last.

Yeah, he was only in for like 4 plays. Too bad. I remember hearing Cutcliffe say that Colquitt's senior year was the only time that the offense really dominated the defense in scrimmages. It might have been a pretty special year offensively, if he'd been able to play the season.

It an't over til it's over. A few years ago we were set for the Rose in the NC game then along came LSU. It could be even better than we think. Some of the top 10 play each other. I am happy to be where we are now and all we must do is win out.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong as I may be. I think Nebraska snuck into the Rose Bowl playing for the NC in 01 after we lost to LSU without even winning their division let alone their conference. Ya just never really know with the BCS. Like others have said, just keep winning and let the pieces fall into place.

Florida versus Boise State in the Sugar? Are you kidding me? That would be AWFUL. I mean, putting Florida in the Sugar is fine with me, of course, but against Boise State?

That would be the lowest rated BCS bowl game of all time.
