SB Nation just updated their bowl projections New bowl projections for a CFB season in need of madness at the top and Tennessee made it.

It looks like they are thinking the Belk Bowl in Charlotte versus NC State. All I care about at this point is the extra practices and have said since before the season that a .500 season with a bowl appearance would be a huge success for Pruitt. He has taken a team that did not look like even belonged on the same field with their SEC opponents last season and made them competitive. I am really excited to see what he can do once he starts getting the players needed to compete at that level.

I’d take that. Although State is pretty good. I don’t think we would be favored.

I agree they look better this season, but UT was certainly in the UF, USC, and UK games until the last play.

I really think there were only two games we were just completely outmatched and really had no shot and that was UGA and Bama. They simply had better players and depth. The West Virginia game was the first game with a new coach and it turns out West Virginia is actually pretty good. The Florida game we killed ourselves with turnovers. The rest we were definitely in.

If we play in a bowl the way we did against Kentucky, then yeah we could easily take NC State.

But that's a big If.
