i think he's got a good list there...of course some regional bias, i'd think the LSU/MIA game is as good if not better than the ND/OSU game....

and Joe Pa v. Bobby Bowden has a nice ring to it....

would'nt it be a great marketing move to get these two geezers to start a rivalry with a pre game shouting/shoveing match?

no. Now having them paly shuffleboard, and the stakes are a prize recruit...then you might be on to something....

9) Sun (Dec. 30): UCLA (9-2) vs. Northwestern (7-4). Do you like high-scoring games? Good, because both teams know how to move the ball, and neither team knows how to play a lick of defense (the Bruins rank 111th, the 'Cats 117th nationally).

Repeat performance of last year's Liberty Bowl. B)

21) Hawaii (Dec. 24): UCF (8-4) vs. Nevada (8-3). By losing the Conference USA championship game to Tulsa, the Golden Knights wound up with a trip to Hawaii instead of a trip to Memphis. How exactly does that work?

For me... it's the Rose, Fiesta, Orange, Peach, and any other bowl involving SEC teams.

Other than that, it's hard to get excited for the Windows XP Bowl presented in conjunction by Viagra and Enzyte.
